Mr. Emijedio L. “Carroll” Sena, 76, of Clovis, a candy maker, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1927, in Clovis.
He was a lifetime resident of Clovis and a World War II veteran. He married Dolores Chavez on March 10, 1951, in Clovis. They renewed their vows on Feb. 14, 1999. He was a candy maker for Leslie Candy Co., retiring in 1982. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a charter member of the D.A.V. Family members said he enjoyed cooking, building things for anyone in need and riding his scooter.
The family will be at 1600 E. Brady Ave.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, J.G. and Rita Sena; and his wife.
He is survived by two sons, Michael and Valentine Sena, both of Clovis; two daughters, Dolores Hardy (and husband, Quinton) of Clovis and Carol Lopez (and husband, Wilson) of Rio Rancho; a sister, Frances Cochran of Clovis; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Father Carlos Chavez will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Eric and Tyson Hardy, Solomon and Emijedio Sena and Crystal Mendoza.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rosie Avila, Lee Smith and Socorro Chavez.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
