Juanita Light, 77, of Dyersburg, Tenn., died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Dyersburg, to Willie and Fannie Stokley Jordan.
Juanita was a factory worker for Dyersburg Fabric until her retirement. She was a member of New Hope Pentacostal Church where she was active as a church mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Light; one son, James Jordan; her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Williams and Eddie C. Foster; and one brother, J.P. Jordan.
Survivors include three sisters, Virginia Cummings of Columbus, Ohio, Lenora Cook of Indianapolis and Harriott Blevins of San Diego; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Yolanda Landers of Clovis.
Bishop Melvin Shaw will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg.
Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis is handling arrangements.
