Lola Fern Walls, 81, of Clovis, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1922, in Clovis, to Wilburn and Eula Mae Mickey Faris.
She married Kent Aaros Walls on March 8, 1938, in Portales. She was a resident of Clovis for most of her life. She worked as a supervisor cashier at Fed-mart/Walgreens and ran the pharmacy for Furr’s Supermarket. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Family members said she enjoyed bowling, golf and archery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Margie Smith; and one grandson, Johnny Dee Alexander.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sondra Walker of Clovis; a son, Gary Walls (and wife, Bonnie) of Granbury, Texas; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Terry Martin will officiate the services.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary, Michael and Gary Walls Jr. and Kent, Martin and Ronny Alexander.
