Christine Thrower, 17, daughter of Linda and Troy Thrower, is a senior at Clovis High School.
What is your idea of a perfect day? My idea of a perfect day is reading in the rain curled up on a window seat.
What is your theme song? My theme song is “I’m Movin’ On” by the Rascal Flats because it shows so much emotion about the past and makes me hopeful for my future.
What is so great about your favorite sport? Swimming is great because it’s completely about self improvement and focus. If you improve yourself, you can’t lose.
Tell us about you greatest individual accomplishment. The individual accomplishment that I am most proud of is being a CPR and First Aid Instructor. I’ve found a way to help people that most people don’t.
What did you think about on Sept. 11, 2001? Sept. 11, 2001, made me think about who in my life is important to me and how I can show them that I love them.
Offices held: Key Club Editor, Captain of Clovis High school Swim Team.
Honors received: American Scholar Award, National Honor Roll.
School activities: Key Club, Swim Team, National Honor Society, AP English and European history.
Hobbies: Swimming and reading while it is raining.
Future plans: I plan to go to Newman University in Wichita, Kan., and become a doctor.
