Sandia welcomes missionary speakers Pete and Allison Crook, who have served seven years as missionaries of the Southern Baptist Convention working in the South American nation of Ecuador, will be the guest speakers at the Sunday evening services at Sandia Baptist Church.
The evening service for the church, located at 1100 W. Manana in Clovis, is at 6 p.m. According to the church, the Allisons both grew up in New Mexico, met at New Mexico State University, and married after graduation. The couple are career missionaries with the Southern Baptist Convention and have until recently been serving as church planters among the Chachi Indians, a small indigenous group living in the coastal rain forest region of Ecuador.
The two now have moved their ministry focus to Quito, the capital city of the country. For further information, contact the church at 763-3471.
