Kent Aaros Walls, 83, of Clovis, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
He was born on Sept. 30, 1920, in Clarendon, Texas, to Chaston C. and Johnnie May Morgan Walls.
He was a resident of the Clovis and Portales area most of his life. He was in the U.S. Navy and was discharged in 1946. He worked as a welder for Standard Oil Company in El Paso, Texas for 19 years and was a member of the VFW. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife Lola Fern Walls; his parents; a brother, Eugene Walls; a half-brother, Doyle Walls; and a grandson, Jonny Dee Alexander.
He is survived by a daughter, Sondra Walker of Clovis; a son, Gary Walls (and wife, Bonnie) of Granbury, Texas; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Terry Martin will officiate the services.
Cremation will take place.
Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Gary, Gary Jr. and Michael Walls and Kent, Martin and Ronny Alexander.
