Patricia “Pat” Dian Alman, 60, of Casper, Wyo., died Friday, May 28, 2004, at her home.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1944, in Casper to Curtis C. and Babe Finney Breikjern.
She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1962. She was married to Dennis Fogelman from 1963 to 1967. She taught dancing at Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Casper and Texas. In 1968, she married John Alman in Texas. She worked as a bookkeeper for Alman Veterinary Services from 1969 to 1979 throughout the Midwest and Canada. She returned to Casper in 1980, where she worked as a payroll clerk for Ramada Inn, a bartender at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 911 and a self-employed seamstress. She began the Re-Ink Spot in 1990 and operated it until her retirement in 1998. Family members said she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother; three siblings, Sylvia Oler of Casper, Dan Breikjern of Sarasota, Fla., and Sandy Welchlin and husband of Billings, Mont.; eight children, Tesha Alman of Homer, Alaska, Fathom McKeown of Clovis, Memery Cardenas of Anchorage, Alaska, Kira Klein of Denver, Rhonda Alman of Phoenix, Greg Alman of Anchor Point, Alaska, and Daniel and Michael Alman, both of Marshalltown, Iowa; 29 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice Home, 319 S. Wilson, Casper, W.Y. 82601; or a charity of one’s choice.
