Chavez shoots another 76

ORLANDO, Fla. — Clovis’ Guillermo Chavez fired his second consecutive round of 76 on Thursday and is currently in a five-way tie for 42nd place at 230 after three rounds of the American Junior Golf Association’s HP Boys Junior Championship Golf Tournament at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Country Club & Lodge.

The tournament concludes today. Palmer’s grandson, Samuel Saunders of Windermere, Fla., continues to lead the tournament at 214 after shooting even-par 72 on Thursday.

Saunders has a two-stroke lead over Daniel Woltman of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Ben Leons of Orlando. Woltman shot 73 and Leons had a 72 on Thursday.
