Mrs. Fern Rogers, 77, of Clovis, a secretary, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at her home.
She was born on July 17, 1927, in Cimarron, Kan., to John and Thelma Naylor Petty.
Family members said her time was spent with her beloved dog, Shadow, and in crocheting blankets for every member of the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Nolan Petty; and her husband, Darrell Rogers.
Survivors include a brother, Roy Petty of Santa Fe; a sister, Mary Downtain of Garden City, Kan.; a daughter, Cheryl deJager (and husband, Terry) of Clinton, Wash.; three sons, Mike Jackson (Kathy) of Arvada, Colo., Gary Jackson of Clovis and Greg Jackson of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren, Shana Wellons, Cher, Jenny, Julie, Stephanie, Matthew and Ben Jackson and Nick and Tia deJager; four stepchildren, Gary Rogers and family, Brenda Hansen and family, Patti Moonan and family and Debbie Rogers; five nieces and their families; and two nephews and their families.
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
