M. Wayne Womack, 53, of Lubbock, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, in Lubbock.
He was born on July 25, 1951, in Lubbock, to Malcolm and Dorothy Womack.
He married Betty Deen on Aug. 8, 1981, in Portales. He served as deacon at Southcrest Baptist Church and was a member of the Lubbock Executive Club, Texas Longhorn Breeder’s Association, the Printers Imaging Association of Texas, the South Plains Lions Club, and was a director of the Cowboy Symposium.
He is a 1970 graduate of Lubbock High and a 1972 graduate of South Plains College. He was the owner of Pioneer Printing that merged with Midtown Printing in 2001.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kevin Edward Womack and Dennis Wayne Womack; a daughter, Janet Rene Womack; his parents, all of Lubbock; a sister, Miriam Pearce (and husband, Dan) of Sublette, Kan.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Associate pastor Jerry Wilson and pastor Dan Pearce of Sublette, Kan., officiated the services.
Burial was at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock.
