Earle Davis Myers, 62, of Clovis, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1941, in Goldston, N.C., to Nathan and Allie Hart Myers.
He retired as a staff sergeant from the United States Air Force after more than 20 years of service. He was a mechanic and owned a garage in California. He married Patricia Whisenant on June 6, 1987, in California. They moved to Clovis in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Mike Myers of Arizona, Paul Harris of Salinas, Calif., Brian Harris of Clovis and Scott Myers of Washington; three daughters, Stephanie Myers of California, Shelley Prestage (and husband, Mike) of Clovis and Susan Stockwell of Lubbock; four sisters, Ann Josey of Denton, Texas, Helen Myers of South Carolina and Betty Maness and Nancy Myers, both of North Carolina; a brother, Kenneth Myers of North Carolina; and 10 grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
The Rev. Doug Brooks will officiate the services.
Military honors will be performed by the Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
