Anniversaries
Kelso
Max and Jean Kelso of Clovis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 12, 2004.
The couple was married Dec. 12, 1954 in Clovis.
Other than for a short period when Max completed his Navy duty in California, the couple has lived in Clovis.
They have two children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The couple are retired farmer sand past owners of Stanley’s Gifts in the Hilltop Plaza.
The couple is planning a trip to California to celebrate.The reception is to be announced.

Harrell
Charles and Karen Harrell of Clovis will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary at 3 p.m., Dec. 18, 2004, at their residence.
The celebration will be hosted by their children, Jeremy Harrell, Tyler Harrell, Tiffany Harrell, sister Janet Kennard and mother Pat Bass.
The couple was married Dec. 22, 1979 in Clovis.
They have three children and one grandchild.
He owns and operates Harrell Trucking.
She is employed at Clovis Municipal Schools.

Luscombe
Shawn Luscombe and Sara Winton-Luscombe of Clovis are the parents of a 5-pound, 3.6-ounce girl Sanora June Luscombe born on Aug. 16, 2004.
Grandparents are Cathy and Rich Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas, Michael and Amy Luscombe, Michele and Steve Chaney, and Andy and Rose Winton, all of Clovis.
Great-grandparents are Joleen and Sid Stahl II of Wichita, Kan.; Polly and Guy Luscombe of Portales; Bernie Sternburg, Lunell Winton, and Ruby Goforth, all of Clovis; Jack and Joy Winton of El Paso, Texas; and the late Robert Sternburg.

Weddings
Morimoto-Tucker
Seiko Morimoto of Kyoto, Japan, and Morgan M. Tucker of Clovis, were joined in marriage Aug. 9, 2004, at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan.
The bride is the daughter of Yasuko and Nasaji Morimoto of Kyoto.
The bridegroom is the son of Carl and Narcie Tucker of Clovis.
The couple will reside in Okinawa, Japan.
The groom is serving in the U.S. Air Force overseas.

Hall-Stephenson
Sheila Ann Hall and Trey Stephenson of Clovis were joined in marriage Nov. 19, 2004, at Flamingo Resort and Plaza in Cancun, Mexico.
The Rev. Gales Issaic performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ray and Ginger Hall of Portales.
She is the granddaughter of Clara and Alfred Boyd of Floyd and Clodus and Jewel Higgins of Oklahoma City.
The bridegroom is the son of Eddie J. and Wanda Stephenson of Portales.
He is the grandson of Edwin Jasper and Gladys Elene Stephenson and Harvey and Olga Hill, all of Portales.
Maid of honor was Mary-Ann McBride.
Bridesmaids were Sonia Ford and Elaina Haley.
Bestman was Kevin Jones.
Groomsmen were Quinton Jones, Brandon Kennedy, and Rustin Roberts.
Ring bearer was Jason Haley.
The couple will reside in Clovis.
The bride is employed at Teambuilders Counseling Inc.
The groom is employed at Combs Electric.

Schjang-Leatherwood
Pam Bernier and Othena Smith of Farwell announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Pamela Schjang, of Clovis, to Shane Leatherwood, of Clovis, son of Mike and Kathy Leatherwood, of Clovis.
The couple will exchange vows on Dec. 17, 2004 at Central Baptist Church in Clovis.
The reception will be at the home of Mike Leatherwood.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Texico High School.
She is employed at Roosevelt General Hospital.
The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Clovis High School.
He is employed at Marshall Junior High.
The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.

Meeks-Manning
Steve and Cindy Meeks of Texico announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lacey Meeks to Keith Manning, son of Theresia Grimes and Time Moreland, of Graham, Texas.
The couple will exchange vows on Dec. 18, 2004 in Las Vegas.
The reception will be held on Jan. 15, 2005 in Clovis.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of House High School and a 2004 graduate of Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
She is employed at University Medical Center as a registered nurse.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Graham High School and is currently a student at West Texas A&M.
