Leonard W. “Scooter” Pipkin, 59, of Flint, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004.

He was born on March 17, 1945, in Clovis, to Hubert and Billie Jean Pipkin.

He graduated from Lee High School in Midland, Texas, and Texas Tech University. He was a certified public accountant working as a U.S. Bankruptcy Trustee and consultant in litigation services. He was honorably discharged from the Texas National Guard as 1st Lieutenant specializing in artillery.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Evinger Pipkin; three children, Kim Henderson and Len Pipkin, both of Midland, and Sam Pipkin of Tyler, Texas; his mother, Billie Jean Pipkin of Clovis; two sisters, SuZann Bumpers and Tammie Raindle, both of Midland; and three grandchildren, Will and Max Henderson, and Cameron Pipkin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National D-Day Museum, New Orleans, 945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130.
