Frances Sandoval, 89, of Clovis, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She was born on June 3, 1915, in Colonias, to Guadalupe U. and Ignacita Chavez Martinez.
She married Orlando Sandoval on Feb. 24, 1936, in Clovis. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Family members said she loved cooking sewing, gardening, and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Pablo and Elijio Martinez; and two sisters, Cecilia Martinez and Florenda Gallegos.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Sandoval (and wife, Theresa) of Clovis, Johnny Sandoval (Ruby) of Roswell, and Richard Sandoval (Sandy) of Roswell; a daughter, Jeannie Carver (Heinz) of Albany, Ga.; four sisters, Josie Campbell, Susie Sena, Antonia Drummond, and Mary Ann Sandoval, all of Clovis; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary is scheduled at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Clovis.
Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Teddy, Randy, and Michael Sandoval, Jason Anaya, Michael Sandoval, and Ryan Romero.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
