Geraldine “Gerry” Allison, 85, of Clovis, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at her home.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1919, in Dalhart, Texas, to Robert Spencer Harrell and Annis Louisa Seward.
She married J. R. Allison on June 2, 1940, in Portales. She was a legal secretary, wife, mother, homemaker, and a member of Central Christian Church in Clovis. Family members said she loved to play bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Fern Kelly; and three brothers, Roy, Willis, and W.O. Harrell.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Beth Peery (and husband, Ken) of Belgrade, Mont., Amy Brown (Sam) of Euless, Texas; three sisters, Glen Ray Klebold of Clovis, Marilyn Di Nello of Denton, Texas, and Betty Roberts of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Alison White of Baltimore, Md., Amanda Stewart of Irving, Texas, Shannon Brown of Euless, Texas, and Jason Brown of Euless, Texas; and a great-grandchild, Tyler White of Baltimore, Md.
Kenneth Broad will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Jeff Smith, Darwin Bailey, Woody Lanier, Eddie Harrington, Dr. Maurice Waters, Don McKinney, and O.E. Christian.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
