Mrs. Carrie “ShoSho” Benford, 51, of Clovis, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1953, in LaGrange, Texas.
She moved to Clovis in 1954 and worked as a childcare provider. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Pearlie Jones of Clovis; two sons, Jermaine Jones of Clovis and Lasha Jones of Houston; a brother, Donnie Jones of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Alvanita Dubose of Phoenix and Brenda Lindsey of Clovis; two nieces, Joegenia Phillips of North Las Vegas, Nev. and Remela Linzy; 12 grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews.
Raymond Beachum will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Anthony Wallace, Berry Lindley, Douglas Walker, Charles Foster, Chuck Phillips, Perry Beachum and Robert Robinson Jr.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
