SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento Monarchs on Friday waived centers Cisti Greenwalt of Clovis and Australian Hollie Grima.

Greenwalt, Sacramento’s third round draft pick, played in two preseason games with the Monarchs. In a 72-70 loss Thursday to Phoenix in an exhibition, the 6-foot-5 former Texas Tech Lady Raider played 12 minutes, scored four points, pulled down three rebounds and blocked one shot. Earlier, Greenwalt led the Monarchs in their 103-79 victory over the Chinese National Team with 17 points in 17 minutes off the bench. She also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds and blocked one shot.

The Monarchs signed 6-3 Grima as a free agent in March.
She averaged 16.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 blocks with her Australian team, Bulleen Boomers, in their 2004-05 season.

The Monarchs camp roster now stands at fourteen, with seven returning players, three WNBA veterans, two draft picks and two free agents.
