FRENSHIP, Texas — Andrew Gillilard’s three-run triple keyed Clovis’ eight-run, eighth-inning rally and the Wildcats edged Frenship 15-13 Monday night in a West Texas Baseball League tilt.

Clovis (12-5) jumped on top 8-0 after 1 1/2 innings, but fell behind 13-8 when Frenship scored seven unearned runs in the bottom of the seventh. The nine-inning game was called after eight because of a 2-hour, 45-minute time limit.

Jared Powers had a two-run triple in the second for Clovis. Jonathan Sisneros went the first five innings while Daniel Casarez earned the pitching victory and Sean Cruce worked the eighth for a save.
