Mrs. Kynda Gale Tolbert, 25, of Clovis, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1979, in Amarillo, to Dennis and Selena Hall Fite.
She graduated from Clovis High School in 1998. She played softball for eight years and was a member of the Clovis Girls Athletic Association. She played volleyball, ran track and was on the drill team at Marshall Junior High. She married Stephen Tolbert on Oct. 23, 2000, in Clovis.
Family members said she loved her children, was a great mom, and she loved to talk on the telephone. She was a former civil servant at the Cannon Air Force Base commissary.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Cotton Hall and Edward Fite.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Tolbert of El Paso; a son, Bryce Tolbert of Clovis; a daughter, Madison Tolbert of Clovis; her parents, Selena Fite and Dennis Fite, both of Clovis; a brother, Dustin Fite (and wife, Candice) of Clovis; her grandmothers, Cassie Fite of Clovis and Barbara Hall of Childress, Texas; and three nephews, Zachary, Austin and Dominic Fite.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Elliott and Dustin Fite, Shane Henderson, Richard Poe, Larry Varnado and Bryan Phillips.
Memorial contributions may be made to her children’s trust fund at Citizen’s Bank.
