Carmen Renate Jacklin Kessler, 51, of Portland, Maine, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1954, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Duane and Anna Jacklin.
She graduated from Clovis High School in 1972. She was a beautician for several years before becoming ill.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Family members said she loved to travel and as a child lived all over the world. Family members said her favorite place was France.
Survivors include her parents; two daughters, Heather Trujillo of Saco, Maine, and Christina Jacklin of Clovis; two brothers, Oskar Jacklin of Renton, Wash., and Thomas Jacklin of El Cajon, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Terry Martin will officiate the services.
Cremation has taken place.
