Betty Gayle Zurzolo, 82, of Clovis, died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at her home.
She was born on June 7, 1923, in Clovis, to Jacob “Jake” and Martha Ruth Allsup Abernathy.
She married Domenick “Dick” Zurzolo on Aug. 19, 1942, in Clovis. She was a reader for the Social Security Administrator in the Clovis office. She was a member of Parkland Baptist and an avid Bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, James Donald Abernathy.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Fenn (and husband, Gary) and Teresa Allsup, all of Clovis; three sons, Dick Zurzolo and Greg Zurzolo (Debbie), all of Clovis, and Chris Zurzolo (and companion, Marty Smith) of Edgewood; a brother, Aden Abernathy (Wanda) of Clovis; nine grandchildren, James Fenn (Brenda), Michelle Anaya (Ronnie), Krystal Lane (Richard), Jacob Fenn (Chelli), Dwayne and Ian Allsup, Marie Shipman (Mark), and Zachary and James Zurzolo; seven great-grandchildren, Paul and Katie Fenn, Taylor Carder, Nicole and Aadam Anaya and Kristina and Melissa Lane.
The Rev. Doug Brooks and Herbert Bergstrom will officiate the services.
Cremation has taken place.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories at a later date.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
