Anthony “Antone” Gomez, 48, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005 in his Clovis home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1957, in Clovis to Joe and Marie Sisneros Gomez. He was a butcher for Stancell’s grocery store and a member of My Father’s House Church in Clovis. Family members said he loved motorcycle riding.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Herman Sisneros.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Marie, wife Christine Marturello, a stepson Marlon Wright, a stepdaughter Latoya Wright, a sister, Susie Gomez Armijo, four brothers Michael, Randy (and wife, Donna), Richard (Geri) and Johnny (Patsy), a grandmother, Josefa Gariep, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Clovis.
Pastor Randy Gomez will officiate the services.
Burial followed at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Madrid, Victor Armijo Jr., Richard Gomez Jr., Johnny Gomez Jr., Carlos Gomez, Randy Gomez II and Santiago Sandoval Jr.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home Clovis.
