Ted and DeAnn Ogilvie of Corinth, Texas, are the parents of Grant Lee, a 7- pound, 3-ounce boy, born Dec. 20 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, Texas.
He has one sister, Arden.
Grandparents are James and Sherry Curtis of Farwell and Charlotte Ogilvie of Clovis. Great-grandmother is LaNell Stancell of Muleshoe.
The U.S.S. Maddox Destroyer Association will hold a reunion June 21-25 in Portland.

Artist of the month
Alexa Pickel of Clovis is featured in the Jan.17 through Feb. 25 Pintores Art League showing at the Clovis-Carver Public Library. She and her husband Lonnie are natives of Clovis. They have two adult children.
Pickel said she taught private lessons, kid’s college and Drawing II before starting her career at Clovis High School, where she has been teaching for 12 years.
She is currently teaching calligraphy I and II, advanced drawing, color media and portfolio development.
Some of her past and present students have received awards from various competitions and art shows as well as the Curry County Fair.
She said she especially enjoys working in oils and pastels but as an educator she works in a wide variety of media.
From her previous experience, she said she has learned to explore and develop dormant talents in her life and enjoys sharing through her paintings.
