Manuel “Mandy” Baros, 62, of Clovis, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at his home. He was born Jan. 1, 1944, in Villa Nueva, to Carlos and Eloisa Gonzales Baros.
He was a deliveryman for McDaniel’s Furniture store for 26 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Community
Family members said he loved riding his motorcycle, music, playing guitar and going to casinos. They also said he was a caring companion.
He was preceded by his parents; two brothers, Silverio and Eloy Baros; a sister, Lucia Baros; and an aunt, Celia Gonzales.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy Baros and Manuel Baros (and wife, Donna), all of Clovis; a brother John Baros (Josie) of Clovis; and companion Donna Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Angel Baros, Danny Sample, Alex, Carlos and Vermine Gonzales.
A Rosary service will be held 5 p.m. today at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton Street.
Father John McKenna will officiate the funeral mass.
Burial will follow in the Villa Nueva Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa.
