The Clovis Industrial Development Corp. and the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce will host a free workshop about workforce development from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Chamber’s offices.
“Developing a Workforce for Tomorrow” is designed for employers to discuss workforce needs and identify and target occupations important to the county, according to the Chamber’s Ashley Szymanski, training specialist.
Szymanski said Chamber members have completed a survey on those topics, and the results will be presented as well.
She said information gathered at the workshop will be used to work with area educators to develop school training programs aimed at meeting future labor market needs.
For information, call Szymanski at 763-3435.
