Student profile: Jonathan Sweet

Jonathan Sweet is a senior at Clovis High School. He is the son of Andrew and Diana Sweet.

What’s so great about your favorite sport? Football is a very physical sport where I can take out all my frustrations on the other team and not get in trouble for it — unless I get a flag, and then I will probably get in trouble for it.

What do you envision your life being like in 10 years? My beautiful girlfriend Erika and I would like to be married and living in a nice house. I would like to be teaching physical education, or working as a trainer in sports medicine, or possibly as an administrator.

If I could do anything, I would … Buy an older Corvette, probably a 1976 Stingray. I would work on it to fix it up and drive it everywhere. I might burn some rubber.

What don’t you like about school? I really don’t like all of the changes people are making.

What is your most prized possession? My family because they are always there for me even if I’ve done something wrong. They love me for me.
