Gregory A.F. Skarda, 50, of Clovis, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
He was born on April 7, 1956, in Clovis. After graduating from Clovis High School, he attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he majored in business. He was a Commissioned National Bank Examiner for the Comptroller of the Currency in Colorado, and was senior vice president and director of The Citizens Bank of Clovis at the time of his death.
He was an avid golfer and master of fly fish casting, family members said.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Burns Skarda, and his grandfather, A.W. Skarda.
He is survived by a son, Eric F. Skarda of Denver; a daughter, Erin L. Skarda of Littleton, Colo.; his father, Lynell G. Skarda of Clovis; a brother, Jeffrey J. Skarda (and wife, Penny), of Houston; and two sisters, Patricia L. Skarda of Northampton, Mass., and Katrina S. Green (Charle) of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow at Plains Sanctuary Mausoleum, Mission Garden of Memories.
