Fairfield Extension Club
The Fairfield Extension Club met on April 14 in the home of Betty Ingram, who hosted with Mary Winkles. Twelve members attended.
Marie Wells and Mary Dell won the door prizes.
New business included the upcoming birthday party on May 12, and the quilt top made by Sharon Ragland and finished by the rest of the members. There will be a workshop to finish the quilt with lunch provided.
Glenda Belcher gave a program on household hints.

The Grady Club met April 11 at the Senior Citizen’s building in Grady. President Katy Makechnie distributed yearbooks and Leader Training pamphlets.
Members attending were Mildred Moyers, Mary Frances Burnett, Margarie Woods, Donna Erb, Gwen Allen, Gladys Thomas, Opal Powell, La Vera Sours, Carol Nash, Maxine Grau and her granddaughter, Kristin Grace.
The business discussed was the upcoming Memorial Day dinner, which will be Sunday, May 28. The city of Grady and the Grady Methodist Church will celebrate their 100th birthdays. The meat will be catered and each club member is to bring a salad, a vegetable and a dessert.
The next meeting will be a gathering at the Ute Lake home of Wanda Page in May for the club’s birthday party.
