Federico Martinez-Villarreal, 19, of Clovis, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
Born Sept. 18, 1986, to Geraldo and Maria Martinez-Villarreal in Durango, Mexico, he married Noehmi Sanchez in October of 2005 in Clovis. He was employed as a dairy laborer and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Family members said he enjoyed working on his vehicle and listening to music, and he took pride in being a hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Celia Contreras; and two grandfathers, Ramon Villarreal and Jose Martinez.
Survivors include his wife, Noehmi Villarreal of Clovis; daughter, Arely Jasmin Villarreal of Clovis; father, Geraldo Villarreal of Durango, Mexico; mother, Maria Gomez (and husband, Victor) of Clovis; four brothers, Adrian Villarreal and Juan Villarreal, both of Durango, Mexico, and Jesus Martinez and Victor Gomez, both of Clovis; sister, Mona Lisa Gomez of Clovis; grandmother, Guadalupe Guitierrez of Durango, Mexico; and aunt, Rosa Villarreal of Durango, Mexico.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel.
Father Carlos Chavez will officiate.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Jesus M. Hernandez, Jorge Perez, Fermin Perez, Manuel Meza, Reimundo Ponce and Francisco Hernandez.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jesus J. Martinez. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.
