CANYON, Texas — If nothing else, Texas-Permian Basin proved Thursday’s 3-2 volleyball win over Eastern New Mexico University was no fluke.

The Lady Falcons (4-7) beat ENMU in five games again on Friday in the Lady Buff Invitational, hosted by West Texas A&M. This time, they had to come from a 2-1 deficit, in games for a 30-32, 30-24, 20-30, 30-22, 15-10 victory.

ENMU got 21 kills from Jessie Macknicki, while Caitlin Murphy set a season high with 25 digs. The Zias (3-9), who have lost seven in a row, set a team season-high in that category with 99 digs.

The Zias complete play in the WT event today with a noon (MST) match against Southeastern Oklahoma.
