Eastern Plains Start program is recruiting for preschool and Early Head Start, according to a Head Start press release.
Children ages 6 weeks to 3 are eligible for the programs.

Behavioral survey results presented
A New Mexico Department of Health official will share local results from the Youth, Risk and Resiliency Survey today.
Clovis High School students participated for the first time in the survey in 2005. Performed annually by the New Mexico Department of Health, the statewide survey assesses the risk-taking behavior of youth.
The Curry County Wellness Council will host Dan Green, an epidemiologist from the New Mexico Department of Health today from 1 to 4:30 p.m. in the Clovis Community College Town Hall, according to a press release from United Way of Eastern New Mexico Executive Director Erinn Burch.
Today: Clovis Schools will host a meeting about the reconfiguration of area junior high schools at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Junior High School, 1500 Sycamore St.
— Gattis Junior High School will hold its Christmas concert at 7 p.m. in the Marshall Junior High School Auditorium.
— Ranchvale Elementary School will hold its Christmas concert at 1 and 6:30 p.m. in the Ranchvale Gym.
Tuesday: Yucca Junior High School will hold its Christmas concert at 7 p.m. in the Marshall Junior High School Auditorium.
