A CLOVIS FAMILY grieving the recent, unexpected death of their father has received heartfelt donations from Clovis students, according to Clovis Schools press release.

Students from Choices school donated 1,055 non-perishable food items, $205, and a Christmas tree to the bereaved Terrones family, according to Choices Principal Scott Sparks.

THE STUDENTS were already raising money and collecting items to demonstrate the importance of helping others when the father of a Choices student died, according to Sparks.

The school decided to donate the items to the family at that time, he said.

CLOVIS HIGH SCHOOL students also became involved in the fund-raiser and raised $1,500 for the Terrones, according to Clovis High School Principal Jody Balch.
