Clovis police are investigating a death they’ve termed “suspicious.”
Emmett Salisbury, 36, was found about 1 p.m. Monday inside E’s Enterprises at 701 E. Grand Ave. He owned and operated the small thrift store at the corner of Grand Avenue and Ross Street.
Clovis Police Lt. Patrick Whitney said Salisbury had a bloody wound in his shoulder. Investigators were still processing the scene late Monday afternoon, Whitney said, and it was too early to say what might have caused Salisbury’s wound.
The last time anyone reported seeing Salisbury was Sunday night, Whitney said. Interviews are being conducted with neighbors and potential witnesses, Whitney said.
