What they believe: First Christian Church is an undenominational fellowship of followers of Jesus Christ who believe he is the son of God and Lord of all. Members believe everyone has sinned and no one has the opportunity of returning to life with God without faith in Christ, public confession, repentance and baptism, and that anyone can begin a new life with Christ and have sins forgiven. Baptist by immersion is practiced.

Services are generally informal with little or no liturgy. The Lord’s Supper is taken each Sunday morning and at “The Gathering” on Sunday nights. “Open communion” is practiced, meaning any believer in Christ is welcome to partake regardless of church background or affiliation. Messages delivered at every service are not designed to make people feel guilty. They are designed to help people connect their sins, problems and needs to God and find his solutions.
