Plains Regional Medical Center
Plains Regional Medical Center held its annual awards luncheon March 20 at Holiday Inn, attended by 68 auxilians and Hoyt Skabelund, hospital administrator; Liz Crouch, chief operating officer and chief nurse officer, and Jim Peters, auxiliary state president.
Ramona Parker gave the introduction and Joy Melton the invocation, with the welcome by Skabelund. Entertainment was by the “Not-So-Andrew-Sisters” from Portales.
The 100th birthday honor was given to Minnie Prince: one dozen roses and cake and basketful of cards. Her family was in attendance.
Peters updated the group on the happenings with the state and reminded everyone of the state convention in September.

Door prizes were donated by Hastings, Hobby Lobby, S&S Supermarket, Joe’s Boot Shop, Bealls, Dillard’s, Juanito’s Roden Smith, Leal’s and K-Bob’s.
