Two Wildcats in Golden Spread games

Two Clovis High seniors are playing this weekend in the Golden Spread All-Star Games.

Guard Cody Thornsbury and center Michael Lewis are playing for the West All-Stars in tonight’s game against the North. The game is 7 p.m. (MDT) at the First United Bank Center in Canyon, Texas.

The team will play in a semifinal or title game against the South or East squads on Saturday.

Thornsbury, a 5-foot-7, 140-pound shooting guard, averaged 12 points per game in the 2006-07 season and set the school record for career 3-pointers with 131 in two seasons.

Lewis, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound center, scored 14.3 points per game and led the Wildcats with 6.0 rebounds per game.
