Religion Digest: ‘Eternity’ drama to be enacted

Central Baptist Church will present “Eternity” Saturday through Wednesday at the church’s worship center, 2501 N. Norris St.
The dramatic production, which will be presented by church members, is about life after death. According to a church news release, the production emphasizes the truth about heaven and hell and the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
Admission is free, and doors will open nightly at 6:30 p.m.

Muleshoe pastor releases CD single
Pastor Jack Stone of First Assembly of God Church in Muleshoe has released a single titled “Jesus is Enough” on CD.
The song, written by Christian songwriter Russ Murphy, debuted at 90 on the Christian Country music charts, according to a news release provided by Stone.

100th anniversary medallion created
A medallion commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the First Baptist Church has been designed.
The First Baptist Church, located at 302 S. Gidding St., was founded on May 5, 1907.
According to a church news release, the medallion’s inscription features the original red brick church building’s steeple.
