There were no injuries from a fire that erupted in an unoccupied house on Ninth Street near Hull Street in Clovis around 1 a.m. Friday, according to Clovis Fire Department officials.

Flames could be seen in the windows when firefighters arrived, Clovis Fire Department Battalion Chief Ike Burns said. Responders extinguished the blaze quickly, he said.

There was partial damage to the house, which had been used for storage, and was not a total loss, according to Burns.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
