A camel tied to a road sign looks on as rescuers work the scene of a two-vehicle crash at State Road 311 and Llano Estacado Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The camel was in a trailer being towed by a sport utility vehicle heading northbound when a car heading west on Llano Estacado Boulevard failed to yield at the stop sign, according to Sgt. Steve Mulkey of the State Police. Mulkey said the only serious injury was to the driver of the car, who was transported to the hospital.
