Christine Reeves of Clovis and Jake Lemon of Portales were joined in marriage Dec. 30, 2006, at Kingswood United Methodist Church.
The bride’s father, Dr. Brad Reeves, performed the double-ring ceremony. Reeves was assisted by Josh McAlister, minister of discipleship.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Brad and Sherrie Reeves of Clovis.
She is the granddaughter of Harry and Joy Reeves of Amarillo, Velma Reeves of Hillsboro, Texas, David Scogin of Abilene, Texas and the late Christine Scogin.
The bridegroom is the son of Kevin and B.J. Landsburg of Portales and John and Lisa Lemon of Quiner, Kan.
The maid of honor was Kesley Hale.
Bridesmaids were Emily Godwin, Monica Posadas and Nicky Bowers.
Best man was Andrew Reeves.
Groomsmen were Josh Lemon, Robert Burrison and Steve Eggert.
Flower girl was Emily Byrd.
Ring bearer was Pacer Davis.
Emily Drops registered the guests.
The mothers of the groom and bride lit the unity candles.
The couple will reside in El Paso, Texas.
The bride is employed at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas, as a junior high youth intern and is attending the University of Texas at El Paso.
The groom is serving in the United States Army and is stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
