Two Texas men were convicted by a Curry County jury Thursday of armed robbery, according to a press release from the District Attorney’s office.

Gregory Boston, 24, and Donald Davis, 20, were found guilty of the July robbery of two Kelley’s Bar & Grill patrons, the release said.

The men approached two patrons leaving the bar. Boston pulled a gun, while Davis pulled a knife, and they demanded money, according to the release. The victims turned over about $30 cash.

Boston and Davis fled the scene but were arrested within a week, according to the release.

The men had hitchhiked to Clovis from the Houston area the day before the robbery, the release said.

The two could face up to 20 years imprisonment, the release said. They will be sentenced within two months.
