Ag Expo slated for Feb. 26-27
The 16th annual New Mexico Agricultural Expo is being held Feb. 26-27 at the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds in Portales.
More than 170 booths with 400 exhibitors are expected at this year’s show, according to a press release from the Portales/Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce.
The show features products, services and the latest in technology in agriculture, the release said.

Covenant to hold job fair in Lubbock
Covenant Health System will host its annual job fair from 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 16 at Knipling Education Conference Center, 21st Street and Louisville Avenue in Lubbock.
Participants can visit with department hiring managers and learn about employment opportunities at Covenant.

Business census forms due Feb. 12
The U.S. Census is asking businesses to return their 2007 Economic Census forms. The due date for return is Feb. 12.
In December, more than 4 million American businesses, including 730 in Curry County, received a form. Those businesses are required by law to complete and return it.
Businesses that did not receive a form are under no obligation to take action.
