Clovis schools are celebrating their annual “Music In Our Schools” week.

And so editors asked readers if they have a favorite music teacher.

Darlene Cunningham’s response: “Music has always been precious to me. Probably my favorite music teacher was my music teacher in high school. Her name is Robin Pederson. She always had time to help me through difficulties, regardless of whether they were music related or not. … She taught me that anything I love is worth fighting for. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. I appreciate that more and more as I get older.”
