The Lighthouse Mission in Clovis is seeking donations of art prints, paintings, sculptures, antiques, homemade quilts and other artistic pieces, especially artwork created by local artists, for a silent auction fund-raiser to benefit the rescue mission’s ministry.

Art donations should be taken to the Lighthouse Mission by 5 p.m. March 14 at 407 L. Casillas Blvd. in Clovis, according to volunteer event coordinator Marcos Urban. The mission is open from 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. weekdays.

The art items will be available for purchase during a turkey dinner and silent art auction March 16 at the Lighthouse Mission kitchen.

The homemade turkey dinner will be served from noon-1 p.m. and the silent art auction will follow from 1-3 p.m. on the day of the event.
Volunteers are needed to help with the dinner and auction.

Dinner is $9 for adults and $6 for children. Drinks and dessert will be included.

Anyone planning to attend the dinner is asked to call and make reservations in advance so the mission will have an idea how many people to expect.
For information, to make reservations for the dinner or to volunteer, call 762-1933.
