Police investigating Dairy Queen robbery

Capt. Patrick Whitney of the Clovis Police Department said the Dairy Queen restaurant in the 2200 block of Main Street was robbed about 8 p.m. Thursday by two males wearing white Halloween masks and dark clothing.

According to Whitney:

• witnesses said the suspects had bags wrapped around their hands and claimed to have guns.

• the suspects took an unspecified amount of money, ran out the back entrance of the restaurant and down an alley.

Clovis detectives are investigating the incident, which was captured on surveillance cameras.
