National contest open to students
A national contest is offering students the opportunity to write the plot for a book as an inspiration to read and write, according to a news release.
Children’s author Jane Lovascio launched the Casey and Bella Story Contest, which began in September 2008 and ends April 15.
The contest offers the winning third or fourth-grader the chance for their story to be the next book in the Casey and Bella series of children’s books.
The grand prize winner will also select the charity of their choice to be affiliated with the book.
