Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
About noon Jan. 12 an officer responded to a school in the 100 block of Commerce Way for a disruptive student.
An administrator told the officer a 13-year-old boy was to the office for being disruptive.
While in the office, the man said the boy cursed loudly when he was told that he couldn’t go get his things.
The officer talked to the boy and told him to do as he was told.
After the officer left the school, he was contacted and told the boy had left the school without permission.
The officer noted intent to issue the boy a citation for disorderly conduct.
About 2 p.m. Jan. 12 an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of Yale Street for a report of breaking and entering.
A woman said she was in a garage area of the home sleeping when two teen boys kicked in the door and entered.
She said she yelled for them to leave but they tried to reach for her purse.
The woman said the boys finally ran off when her dog started barking.
The officer documented damage to a side door.
About 11 a.m. Jan. 12 an animal control officer responded to the emergency room for a dog bite.
A woman said the day before she got between her dog and another dog while they were fighting and was bitten in the leg.
The dog that bit her was current on its immunizations and was placed on home quarantine.
About 10 a.m. Jan. 13 officers served a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Axtell Street.
When the officers asked the female resident to give them any narcotics in the residence, she gave them a tin with four small baggies of marijuana in it and another tin with 21 marijuana cigarettes in it.
Officers also found a plate with a straw and white powder on it that tested positive for cocaine.
The woman said she had been selling marijuana for a couple of months from small amounts she would purchase in Texas. She said the cocaine she had for personal use.
The 46-year-old woman was arrested for possession with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine and paraphernalia.
