Public Education Department joins forces with Oracle Academy to prepare rural students for 21st century careers

Fe, NM – The New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) has joined
forces with the Oracle Academy, Eastern New Mexico University –
Roswell, and General Communication, Inc. (GCI) to launch an innovative
distance learning program that will help rural New Mexico students
develop the technology and business skills needed for 21st century
careers.

“This cutting edge collaboration makes high
tech training available to New Mexico’s students,” said New Mexico
Education Secretary Veronica C. Garcia.
