Life too short to wait

When I was in high school, I went with a girlfriend many times to see her grandmother, who lived in a rest home. The first time I went with her, we arrived at about 11:30 in the morning. What caught our attention was a little lady, sitting in the “parlor” all dressed up as if it were Sunday. With white gloves, she held a purse tightly in her lap.
