A 14-year-old boy police believed stabbed another teen at the Curry County Fair Wednesday night is being held on a probation violation.
The boy has not been charged with the stabbing and the investigation is ongoing, Undersheriff Wesley Waller said Thursday.
At the fair, deputies discovered a 16-year-old with multiple lacerations and minor puncture wounds from a fight.
The boy told investigators he and the other youth got into a dispute on the midway and met in the parking lot to fight. He said the other boy pulled a knife and stabbed him and left.
